CSIO Barcelona with Ale!

On Sunday I joined Ale and other friends for the final phase of the equestrian contest CSIO Barcelona.
It was a wonderful day, sunny and warm, so I decided it was time to wear this new transparent and asymetric shirt.
The contest was really exciting and tight until the end. Finally the swedish team won the first prize, followed by the Spanish tema who also did great, so proud!

Bindi

I love these pics because of the dress: it is apparently serious but  the low-cut back, concealed by the zigzag strips, gives an irrevente and sexy touch. As for the stickers on the forehead they are bindis. They are used in countries like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka,  Indonesia (including other Southeast Asian ones) by women and the colours allows you to know if they are married or not. But the best part is that the bindi is placed where it is assumed that  the sixth chakra or anja (home of the "hidden wisdom") is found and prevents energy and concentration from going away.
If you like Indian food I recommend Tandoor, an Indian restaurant in Barcelona (C/ Calabria 144), that has excellent food and homemade kind, not your typical Zen restaurant opened by a Spanish that has been traveling. It is authentic and the food is fantastic. I really love dahl (lentils), cheese with spinach, chapati, roti or na'an (local bread) and of course, the chicken curry! If you prefer Nepali food you should try Annapurna (c/ Paris 161).

2x1

This is the best transitional outfit ever! Nowadays it is starting to be cool in the mornings and late afternoons. Therefore I decided to mix a sleeveless dress with jacket and bare legs with socks (so you can pull them up if it's cooler). I also tried mixing girly style with rocker pieces: an Ines de la Fressange tip for a parisienne chic!

Working Girl

Since I started working I realized how difficult it is to think about every day's outfit for the office. Guys have it easy but although we have more options it also involves much more thinking. So, I decided that from time to time I will include posts from working outfits. Today's one is a transition between summer, autumn, the freshness of the morning and the air conditioning and the heat of noon and 8-hour parking the car in the sun. I als need something comfortable as well as a little bit dressed up but young looking: it is a daunting task.

Walking Around

A simple saturday afternoon , with a comfortable hippy outfit, going out for a walk with my sister's dogs to the forest. A very relaxing and common day in my life, simply wonderful!

Summer is ending,... what a pitty! I publish these photos today just to try to make it last and I update with one of my favourite's David Guetta's song and clip of the summer!!! and some other very popular remix in the W hotels cd.
Just to end, I recommend reading Isabel Allende's last novel: El cuaderno de Maya. My holiday's novel. Nothing to do with Isabel's usual writing style: more direct, quicker and actual story but without forgetting Chile's history. have a nice week!

Buena Semana!

Impact

Last but not least of this series of our Cazcarra photos (www.cazcarra.com). This is in honour of the great Frida Kalho: marbelous painter and woman, firstly behind Diego Rivera's figure but now known worldwide for herself. I really love her naïf paintings but even more her character and idea of tradional mexican outfits and maya's necklaces, her personal style is just behind no doubt.
Ps. Check my new eyebrows!!! heheh. Thanks again to Cazcarra Image Group

Pd. Mirad mis nuevas cejas! jajaja. Gracias de nuevo a Cazcarra Image Group.

Pi-hippie

What do you think about this gipsy style??? It seems much like formentera's summer style but for me september is new year. I still live with the school calender and there is no way I can change that. September means re-planning.

Septiembre significa replanteamiento general.

Separate teeth!

Second look with Cazcarra Image Group's collaboration. This is in the style of B.B. Do you like my separate teeth??? tricky, eihn? It was really strange to look at the mirror and see my teeth  that way. Thanks again to http://www.cazcarra.com/

Gracias otra vez a http://www.cazcarra.com/

Chinatown

As I told you some weeks ago we are engaged in a project with Cazcarra (www.cazcarra.com). This is one of the first photo shoots we did. We wanted to do something different, and our inspiration come from old movies and old advertising campaigns. We were really lucky to collaborate with the Cazcarra team. Thanks to the great make up professional Jordi Justribó the make up and hair style resulted to be incredible and versatile, just what we were looking for!
After long hours of work this is the result (and lots of more pictures with different outfits and make up style you will discover soon). What do you think?
Keep tuned for more surprises!!!
